ZOO Košice – An invisible carnivore

ZOO Košice has recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. Thanks to its location and spacious area it belongs to one of the most interesting places to visit in Košice. It is open the whole year round and you can check out 1,400 different species in here. ZOO Košice takes care of seals and penguins as the only zoological garden in Slovakia. For example, 40 penguin cubs have been looked after till their adulthood during the last 10 years. ZOO’s kind staff is taking care of all the animals and this fact makes the place worth your visit any day of the year.
